Motivational Interviewing

Motivational Interviewing is an evidence-based approach to behaviour change, that is a guiding style of communication. It aims to empower people to change by drawing out their own meaning, importance and capacity for change.

Client and clinician are equal partners who together explore the clients’ ambivalence about change and what change means for them. MI can be used for coaching and to work on a range of concerns – depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, stress, alcohol & drug abuse and more.
