
Mark Wright
Psychologist MAPS
Mark is a kind and empathic therapist. He is registered as a psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). Mark enjoys working with people experiencing a range of mental health concerns including various anxiety, adjustment, substance use and trauma-related issues through to mood and psychotic conditions. He has experience working with individuals and groups managing both mental health concerns and various offending behaviours.
Mark adopts a collaborative stance towards therapy, aiming to work together with his clients to give them the tools required to adapt to and cope with life’s difficulties. He works within the scientist-practitioner model and draws on a range of evidence-based treatments including: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-focused Brief Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), to help clients reach their goals.
Outside of work Mark is passionate about health and fitness. He enjoys living an active lifestyle, getting out into nature, and reading on a diverse range of topics. Mark consults from both our Campbelltown and Moorebank locations.
