I am pleased to join The Lighthouse Psychology Practice on a part-time basis. Over the past 12 years I have worked with children, adolescents and adults across a variety of settings, including within schools, private practice, disability services, not for profit and government sectors. I have experience working with a wide variety of presenting psychological symptoms, providing both short-term and long-term treatment.
I regularly work with individuals to address concerns including, but not limited to; Mood & Depression, Anxiety, Anger Management and Conflict Resolution, Carers and their Wellbeing, Self-harm and Suicidality, Neurodevelopmental Conditions (Such as ASD, ADHD), Managing Stress, Chronic Health Conditions, Parenting Stressors and Strategies.
I provide an individualised, client-centred approach to therapy, utilising a range of treatment frameworks to ensure the best possible health outcomes, including; Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Play Therapy.
I enjoy running groups and I am also an accredited Animal Assisted Therapist, having worked alongside my team mate, Labrador Ada, over the last two years on an AAT specific caseload.
