
Dr Mona Idris
Consultant Psychiatrist MBCHB. FRANCP
Dr Idris is a medical doctor, and completed her medical degree at the University of Basrah in Iraq, before specializing in Australia. She became a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists in 2010, and is trained as a General Adult Psychiatrist.
She speaks fluent Arabic and has experience working with refugees, who have been exposed to torture and other traumas before settling in Australia.
In addition to private practice, Dr Idris holds a Staff Specialist position at Campbelltown Mental Health Services as a perinatal psychiatrist, which has been held for the past three years.
Dr Idris provides assessment and treatment services for adults for a range of psychiatric conditions. These include, but are not limited to, Anxiety disorders, Mood disorders, Personality disorders and Psychotic disorders. Dr Idris consults from our Campbelltown practice.
