Brittany has a background in infant, child and adolescent mental health, working with the family systemically and holistically. Brittany has experience in the private, public and not for profit sectors and enjoys the diversity that each sector offers.
Brittany has experience working with individuals presenting with a variety of different issues and a specific interest in the following: Eating Disorders, Trauma/ PTSD, Anxiety, Depression/ mood disorders, Suicidality/self-harm, Family discord, Attachment, Family work/parenting. Brittany works from a model of evidence-based practice, individualising the treatment to the client and their presentation.
Brittany can treat through a variety of models including; Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Family Behavioural Therapy (Maudsley- Eating Disorders), Behavioural Family Therapy (Family work model), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Psychosis, Parenting with Borderline Personality Disorder, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, and Family therapy interventions.
